This bilingual exhibition celebrates the 200th anniversary of the relationship between the United States and the Kingdom of Thailand dating back to the 1818s. Designs - Volvo Trucks, 2023 (Banner Surround)
The design concept for this project was to integrate Volvo’s five key values with 5 biomes in a banner surround for the cafeteria that would bring in the feel of natural world these trucks move through daily. Over 200’ linear feet of banner material was used to complete this project.

During my time at National Geographic, I worked as a contract designer for the launch of a new national classroom magazine National Geographic Extreme Explorer. My main focus was to Illustrate openers and provide the design language for articles. The designs in this section show some of the articles we created as a team. Art - Maasai Sculpture
This is a project i did while renting space and attending classes at the Washington glass school, 2011-12. Really enjoyed my time with this group. I designed this three sided, welded and forged triangular frame to hold illustrated glass panels. This process of kiln formed glass is my favorite technique I learned at WGS.

Art - The Courtship
This painting was inspired by the poem "The Nymph's Reply to the Shepherd" by Sir Walter Raleigh in which a shepherd tries but fails to win the heart of a nymph. She ends the poem by saying she cannot be moved to love him no matter what he promises. Poor shepherd… I thought he needed a top hat for some reason. Acrylic on canvas, 45"x20", custom frame.

Woodwork - Walnut Dining Table with Illustrated Epoxy Inset
This was my first out of blue commissioned project. I went through the whole process from milling black walnut slabs to installing the table in Boston for good friends. One of the more unique challenges of this table was the custom carved epoxy inset. Lots of research, lots of fun. Cant wait to try this technique again. Woodwork - Hi-back Bench Makeover
Found some beat up high back pine benches and carved in some Irish crosses. After sanding down a bad glue up and poly job I used tinted boiled linseed oil to give it a well aged look and sealed it up for outdoor use.

The base is hammered and shaped forged steel made by renowned western MD metalsmith Tim Beachley. Tim used a rarely seen key-joint technique to attach the lower shelf along with attractive open twists on each legs. A patina was added to enhance color and rust protection.

I carved this design into an English walnut live edge 2" slab to be low relief and subtle so as to not take away from the beauty and curling in this wood. Its finished with low gloss tongue oil.
